Our ongoing work with Montefiore includes master planning and then design of subsequent phases at The Weils, a senior living community in suburban Cleveland.
The Weils, a two-story, 75-unit, 107,000 sf assisted living residence, was designed to preserve the existing high quality wetlands as an important amenity for residents and visitors. The spacious one and two bedroom suites are unique for assisted living and reflect the client’s forward thinking approach. The project includes a cafe, a full kosher kitchen and attached parking garage.
The Rehabilitation Pavilion is the second phase of the master planned community. This phase includes a 20,500 sf addition consisting of a 29-unit rehabilitation pavilion.
The third phase of the master plan includes an 18-unit assisted living secured memory-care pavilion, shifting the emphasis from illness to wellness and from disability to ability. Designed as a household model, each has its own living and dining rooms. A beautiful central secure courtyard provides walking paths contributing to resident’s wellness and therapeutic well-being.
