Community connections is an important characteristic of Greenfields of Geneva, our second project for Friendship Senior Options, with its connection into a residential development and location within walking distance of the area’s Main Street village.
The design for this new Life Plan Community integrates into an existing, award-winning smart-growth planned community. With a design blending two, three, and four-stories into the sloped site, the design on the street side of the site mirrors the residential homes across the street. The apartments, community spaces and wellness center overlook the nine-hole golf course that runs through the site.
Sited on 26 acres, the project includes 200 independent living apartments, 48 assisted living units and 64 skilled care units, consisting of 24 memory support and 40 long-term care suites. The first floor of the community building offers an array of amenities, including an aquatic center, health club, spa and salon, shopping, full-service and casual dining venues.
Wellness was a major design objective. Enhancements include directing more natural light into the interior of each floor and outdoor views to the water features.
